ROLLER DOOR WARRANTY

All products are independently tested to the highest standards and are certified to the high safety requirements and performance characteristics of European standard13241-1. You can therefore, be confident that your purchase of a Hobman product is a safe investment. Hobman Doors Guarantee offers the following Warranty for our Roller Doors.

1.SUMMARY (subject to the terms and conditions as shown)

Free 12 months Parts & Labour Guarantee. Thereafter Parts only Guarantee.

All functional parts are guaranteed for a minimum of 1 year. We only ask that these are fitted by Hobman Doors Engineers. During the first year, our engineers time and labour are free, however, after the first year, only the parts are under guarantee. There will be a time and labour charge during the guarantee period.

The guarantee does not include items which are consumable such as batteries, light bulbs and fuses.

5 years all immoveable frame parts

5 Years mechanical parts

5 years SOMMER Electrical parts (excluding batteries, lightbulbs and fuses)

15 years colourfast warranty (against colour fade)

2. REQUIREMENTS.

Our manufacturers recommend an annual service to your garage door. However, as long as you maintain your door, we recommend that the door is regularly cleaned using warm soapy water and using a silicone spray/lubricant every 3-4 months on runners and guides. We recommend you service your door every 2-3 years. If you believe the door is not working properly or has issues such as strange noises, scratches etc. please ring Hobman Doors and arrange for a service.

3. PERFORMANCE

During the warranty period, we undertake to rectify any and all defects to the Hobman Roller Door Product which can be proved to be attributed to a material or manufacturing fault. We promise, at our discretion, to either exchange or repair the defective merchandise. Replacement parts remain our property.

4. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE CAUSED BY:

Negligent care and maintenance, Installations or exchange of parts by other parties. Improper initial and subsequent operations. Negligent or wanton destruction.

External influences, such as: fire, water, salts, alkaline solutions, acids and any abnormal environmental influences (This also includes high winds and Acts of God)

Repair by non-qualified persons

This Warranty applies to all goods sold on or after.

In the case of laminated doors with a textured woodgrain finish, the exterior finish is guaranteed to provide an effective weatherproof membrane which will resist perforation. Furthermore, colour change or fade to the exterior surface will be limited and uniform for the full 15-year period. The Proper aftercare procedures must be carried to maintain the

 15-year colour fast warranty on the finish; regular cleaning of the door both inside and out is essential to remove any dust/dirt build up. This can cause marks to appear in the grain if proper care is not upheld.
